Our Accounting Manager manages the day-to-day operations of our Accounting Department using a unique proprietary system to deliver real-time financial reporting. We require the highest level of integrity and commitment to accurate and timely results. Our Accounting Manager must prioritize effectively, managing numerous tasks and adhering to tight deadlines. A results-driven individual who is resourceful and demands excellence will find this position challenging and rewarding.
This position is part of our Administration division, which supports multiple operating divisions that serve a nationwide customer base in industries ranging from residential communities to the financial industry to the medical field.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions and personnel, including the accounts receivable and accounts payable staff. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Vice President – Accounting and is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and preparing and/or reviewing general ledger entries. The Accounting Manager also prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Other key responsibilities include:
Candidates must have two to five years hands-on experience with G/L management of a mid-size corporate accounting department.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. CPA is preferred but not required.
The Accounting Manager must be eager to learn, highly motivated, and process-driven. Professional-level writing, spelling, and correspondence skills are required. Additionally, the Accounting Manager must demonstrate the following:
