Our Advertising Account Executives market our industry-leading products to clients across the country, cultivating strong telephone relationships with advocacy groups, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical industry clients throughout North America. We require the highest level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, whether initiating cold calls or maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts. Our Account Executives must prioritize effectively, managing numerous tasks
and prospective customers at varying stages within the sales cycle.

This position is part of our medical division, which is dedicated to empowering people who are facing life-altering diseases by providing them with the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about their diseases and treatment options.

 

Advertising Account Executives are responsible for establishing and maintaining important customer relationships, which are the essential source of long-term value for our company and the customer alike. They must be able to think analytically and creatively, recommend strategies, communicate solutions and identify new opportunities for the customers they serve. Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Understanding customer needs and goals
  • Maintaining close contact with key decision-makers
  • Formulating and executing comprehensive, effective plans
    for account development and sales growth
  • Meeting sales goals and deadlines
  • Mastering all aspects of the systems and solutions that Uhlig provides to patients, advocacy partners, medical providers, pharmaceutical companies and the broader healthcare industry
  • Creating and delivering clear, effective sales presentations in person and through online meeting tools
  • Protecting client confidentiality
  • Promoting our company reputation and values through personal appearance, presentation skills, resourcefulness, and integrity
  • Understanding and upholding the policies, professional standards, and values of our company and the industries
    it serves.

 

Candidates must have a proven sales track record based on at least two years’ professional experience in sales, marketing or account development. Specialized experience in selling or marketing to the medical or healthcare industry is helpful but not required.

 

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

 

Advertising Account Executives must be outgoing, motivated, possess a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent work experience in a related field, and a proven sales track record is required. Other relevant attributes include:

 

  • Professional-level writing, spelling and correspondence skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct personal and online presentations to individuals and groups
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Occasional travel when required

 

Candidates must have strong general technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools. Other software skills include:

 

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel (preferred)
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Working knowledge of database systems
