We are seeking a charismatic people-person with a proven sales record to join our team as a National Account Executive. This position will market our industry-leading products and software systems to clients across the country, cultivating strong personal relationships with health care providers, advocacy groups and pharmaceutical industry clients throughout North America. We require the highest level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, whether initiating cold calls or maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts. Our National Account Executive must prioritize effectively, managing numerous tasks and prospective customers at varying stages within the sales cycle.

 

This position is a part of our medical division, which is dedicated to empowering people who are facing life-altering diseases by providing them with the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about their diseases and treatment options.

 

The National Account Executive is responsible for establishing and maintaining important customer relationships. They must be able to think analytically and creatively, recommend strategies, communicate solutions and identify new opportunities for the customers we serve. Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Mastering all aspects of the systems and solutions we provide to our clients within the health care industry
  • Creating and delivering clear, effective sales presentations in person and through online meeting tools
  • Maintaining close contact with key decision makers
  • Formulating and executing comprehensive, effective plans for account development and sales growth
  • Meeting sales goals and deadlines
  • Protecting client confidentiality
  • Promoting our company reputation and values through personal appearance, presentation skills, resourcefulness and integrity
  • Understanding and upholding the policies, professional standards, and values of our company and the industries it serves

 

Candidates must have at least two years’ professional experience in sales, marketing or account development. Experience selling medical and/or hospital software systems required.

 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.

 

Our National Account Executive must be personable, outgoing and motivated. Other relevant attributes include:

  • Articulate and capable of describing our products and solutions
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Persistent in nature
  • Able to overcome objections
  • Good listening skills
  • Professional appearance

 

Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools. Other technical skills include:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Working knowledge of database systems
  • A general understanding of EMR systems is a plus
