We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented production workflow expert to join our medical division as a production specialist. Our production specialist is responsible for maintaining quality standards and ensuring error-free publications. They must be comfortable overseeing deadlines and capable of learning and working in every position including proofreading. Qualified candidates will possess excellent organization skills, advanced proofreading and computer skills, an eye for detail, and solid communication skills.

 

This position is a part of our medical division, which is dedicated to empowering people who are facing life-altering diseases by providing them with the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about their diseases and treatment options.

 

This position includes process management and comparative onscreen and hard copy proofing of publications.

 

 Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manage workflow and staff daily
  • Develop and maintain process schedule
  • Ensure all production deadlines are met
  • Proof for grammar, spelling and style
  • Execute/perform/complete quality assurance checks
    and validation
  • Protect client confidentiality
  • Promote our company reputation and values through
    personal appearance, resourcefulness and integrity
  • Understand and uphold the policies, professional standards
    and values of our company and the industries it serves.
  • Other projects as assigned

 

Production Specialist candidates should have two years’ relevant work experience or have graduated from college.

 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with a high GPA, is preferred.

 

Candidates must exhibit exceptional proofing, organizational and time-management skills.

  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently

 

Candidates must have strong general office skills, including proficiency with Microsoft-based operating systems, excellent Internet knowledge, and other common tools, including the following:
